Project Management

The Nederlandse Innovatie Maatschappij (NIM) plays an active role in the transition toward a climate-neutral maritime sector by successfully managing projects that accelerate sustainability efforts.

This includes projects carried out within the framework of the Maritime Master Plan, a program funded by the National Growth Fund, aimed at developing reliable, competitive and modular climate-neutral vessels while accelerating the global energy transition. NIM plays a key role by managing projects that contribute to the development of climate-neutral energy systems and energy efficiency, with a focus on applications involving hydrogen, methanol, LNG with carbon capture, and energy efficiency solutions.

Ongoing Projects

At the Nederlandse Innovatie Maatschappij (NIM), we work every day on innovative solutions that make the maritime sector more sustainable and future-proof. As a driving force behind several projects within the Maritime Master Plan, we apply our expertise and experience to develop pioneering technologies that contribute to climate-neutral shipping. Our ongoing projects focus on the use of alternative fuels such as hydrogen and methanol. We are working to develop hydrogen-powered vessels, demonstrating emission-free shipping in practice. In addition, we are exploring the potential of methanol as a marine fuel, contributing to the standardization and implementation of methanol applications within the sector.
